Just a few random tidbits that seem like they could find a home here:
A little lesson in history please?
I attended a lecture last night by David McCullough, historian and author (John Adams, The Jonestown Flood, Truman, etc.) A few of my favorite quotes/thoughts from the evening:
"There is no such thing as a self-made man or woman."
"We are what we read." (Yes! Yes! Yes!)
"There was no simpler time!" (on the tendency for people to qualify the past as "simpler times.")
"There's no such thing as the past. People did not live in the past, they lived in the present."
"Act well your part, for therein all the honor lies." - Alexander Pope
"Great leaders animate action."

A quick review, if you please?
If you've found any of our content and podcasts helpful, would you be willing to take two minutes to rate or review the AC Podcast on iTunes? It would be much appreciated. While you're at it, we would also love a recommendation to your friends and co-workers. We'll return the favor. Somehow.
There IS such a thing as a free lunch
We've just opened up a free trial to AC Premium. Give it a spin for 30 days. If you don't like it, just cancel and there's no charge. (And no hard feelings.)
End of randomness. I know I say this often, but we are so grateful that you take the time to read and interact with our content on the AC site. It means a ton. Thanks for helping us free creative people to be their brilliant selves.
