On My Kindle…

By Todd Henry

For anyone keeping track, (may I suggest you find a hobby?) here’s a short list of what I’m reading this week:

How Would You Move Mount Fuji? by William Poundstone
An interesting look at Microsoft’s “cult of the puzzle” and how it has shaped their hiring practices and operational strategy.

The Maytrees by Annie Dillard:
Soul food. Nothing but soul food.

Neat idea! Currently reading the essays of Montaigne (imagine a Renaissance blogger) and the second book in the Temeraire series (think “Master and Commander” with dragons).

This week, by recommendation of a friend, I’m starting “The Culture Code” by Rapaille. Debrief to follow.

How do you like your kindle? It looks kind of ugly but seems super functional. I’ve played with one of the Sony readers but don’t like only using a PC to connect. That limits me to my office mac with vm ware running.

Excellent content and style…keep up the good work!

@Steve, I LOOOOVE the Kindle. The overwhelming win for the Kindle is the notation and wireless access. I can clip, highlight and notate all of my books and copy the notes to my Mac for integration into writing and talks. I also love the ease of purchase and download of books and the ability to sample books before purchase. The Sony version is extremely limited in comparison.
